Flock of Birds
An restored Art Deco print adorned with timeless feathered creatures
Background
‘Flock of birds’ is an intrecate design reminiscent of M.C. Escher and can be used in all spaces of your house. We found the pattern in one of the most luxurious periodical of the 1920s: the magazine Art-Goût-Beauté. Originally printed in blue and white, this pattern is now also available in orange, pink, yellow, blue and black.
A clear, fresh, yet ingenious pattern with a genteel graphic contrast based on silk fabrics of the Roaring Twenties. Capybara knows that this wallpaper brings light in every room.
Magazine Art-Goût-Beauté
The magazine Art-Goût-Beauté (Art – Good Taste & Beauty) was intended for an extremely wealthy readership. Each issue featured rich art deco fashion illustrations with sophisticated details, providing a glimpse into the aspirational lifestyle of the Roaring Twenties in Paris.
Available in the colors black, manatee blue, 77-buff orange, Miss Piggy pink and pale Bigbird yellow.
